An exciting opportunity awaits as the KARN Liaison with the Kneehill Addiction Recovery Network.
The role, starting at 20 hours per week and $24 per hour, serves as a crucial link to the world, facilitating connections with current and potential partners. Communication of the immense benefits KARN can provide to enhance ministry will be a primary task.
The role is perfect for those who thrive in social scenarios, engaging with individuals ready to embark on recovery-related projects. A key responsibility lies in fostering and improving relationships with other ministries resonating with KARN's noble mission. Working directly with leaders of Christian Recovery ministries in the area is a critical part of the experience, offering a chance to understand their needs, team dynamics, and opportunities to assist. The support might come in the form of discipleship, resource provision, or referrals.
Collaboration with the board to plan and implement training events essential to KARN's growth is part of the role. The liaison will bring skilled instructors and coaches to Kneehill, aiding in the growth of the ministries and network. The rewarding task of identifying the Equipped Conference topic/theme, its goals, and the presenters also falls under the liaison's purview.
In addition to expressing KARN's vision and mission, the liaison will help in setting annual goals and strategies to broaden the network. The KARN Liaison role is poised to evolve with the unique skills and abilities uncovered during and after the hiring process.
